His social commentary chronicles his observations of our social norms and how they are formed. From politics, media and religion to family and the relationships we form which, is part of what makes the human experience the interesting journey that it is. GROWING CREATIVITY inspired by Gardens and Art in Schools
Saturday 21st 3.00-6.30pm
Where artist and gardeners come together a wonderful thing happens: ‘Growing Creativity – It’s a Process’ began through a meet up between Muralist – Joan Bourque, Gardens for Humanity - School Garden Coordinator – Wendy Harford, and the Verde Valley Montessori School in Cottonwood. Funding from AZ Commission for the Arts has provided their children with two additional teachers providing experiential learning in planting seeds through process, and inspiration.
Gardens for Humanity joins us with School Gardens and their Artist in Schools program – ‘Celebrating the Art in Earth’ as the means of environmental and garden education, helping students develop greater self-expression, creativity, experimentation, problem solving, in addition to enhancing their emotional relationship, appreciation and sense of responsibility towards the natural world.
Red Earth Theatre offers a collage of words and music - thoughts and paeans to our Earth at 5-6.30pm.
